8.5in x 11in vinyl on glass

Veins was my first solo gallery show, located at Trinity Christian College’s Trapcat Student Gallery. It pays tribute to all the places that I have traveled to around the world that I have either good or bad memories of. Outside world influences of where we go and who we surround ourselves with makeup internally who we are. The aerial maps begin to look like the veins in our bodies, physically making up who we are internally.

Veins is made up of 30 different glass maps, each map ranging from 2 to 10 hours of work.

Veins also made it’s way into my BFA Thesis show in 2021. The maps were interspersed with my other work across the Seerveld gallery.

In 2022 Veins was accepted into Art Prize. 5 planks were suspended from the ceiling consisting of a 5 x 6 grid of all the maps. An additional online interaction was included in this show where viewers could scan a QR code next to a map and read and submit memories or thoughts of each location. (the online component no longer exists at this moment).
